I so wish we had the gift to see ourselves as others see us ~ but since we don't let me try and describe myself, I have been divorced almost 3 years (amicably) after a long marriage, there was no 3rd party involved ~ a decent person with a kind and affectionate non aggressive nature, so if you are a "tough cookie" we will not be compatible ~ I still have all my own hair and teeth..:) ~ never smoked, and a "genuine social drinker" ~ i do not need to drink myself a personality..:) the ability to dress for the occasion and environment, DJ to bush gear.. even though I have a live in domestic I can cook, and clean up.. apparently no man has ever been killed off while washing dishes..:) ~ capable of tackling most household repairs, gardening ? enthusiastic but unskilled, however I have managed to create quite a nice rose garden.
Fortunate to have a circle of long standing good friends with whom I enjoy various hobbies and interests, ranging from a couple of classic sports cars, and an old Land Rover.. love it :) I also enjoy fly fishing, which allows me to escape city life for a weekend to our syndicate house in Dullstroom ~ there are so many places to explore in SA, and overseas but lots more fun if shared with a nice decent affectionate lady.. fun shared is twice the fun..:) or dining out at new places and old favourites, going to movies, the theatre at Monte or a show at the Barnyards ~ or a quiet evening at home (I live in a very secure guarded complex) with a good take away and a dvd ~ financially secure and semi retired, I pop into the office a few times a week ~ ok this is already way too much about me ~ in a nutshell I am interested and interesting !!! in fact almost worth shaving your legs for... hope you also have a healthy sense of humour. The ideal partner.!!!! gosh they make it sound as easy as going to a good restaurant and ordering one's favourite meal, well my favourite meal is one shared with someone special ~ that would be a lady who has moved on with her life, and is comfortable with where it has taken her so far ~ it would be great if she is able to escape for the occasional short notice wkend away to somewhere like Dullstroom, or the Bush ~ however her most vital characteristics is an affectionate gentle nature, as I mature my serotonin cells are more stimulated by a lady's nature than looks, so the kind of female that when I see her name on my mobile I get butterflies in my tum would be awesome..:) a sense of humour is also a must have.. (",) as is understanding that compassion and empathy are not just occasional options.. like all of us I am looking for the perfect partner, and by that I mean perfect for me.. profile pic taken Sept 2018 in the "bathroom mirror" :)
Of course I have a few prefs ~ just like you will, that may well show as horrid little red crosses on our "match" ~ yet I am an open minded optimistic person who has learnt that very little in life is indeed cast in stone ~ therefor I believe it is quite possible that many of our preconceived "ideals" can be chucked out the window by a interesting personality that no pic or profile can possibly convey ~ what is the worst case scenario, that we may both gain a new friend.
My basic prefs are a medium to tallish non smoking lady who is also emotionally available from my local area, ie Sandton, Randburg, Northern Jhb.. location is not a total deal breaker, just makes it way more convenient for both.. so if you sort of like what you have read add me to your "favs" and we shall take it from there .. dare to dream.
