About Her
Why you should get to know me is quite the most impossible question to answer. I'd rather not list my supposed virtues. The internet is a strange place and text is stranger still, and so you will only know if you want to get to know me, should we ever meet.
But, given that I seem to be attracting people who are unlikely to be a happy fit, I guess I should add some more about myself.
I'm serious - about humour and forging healthy relationships that thrive on mutual support of one another's freedom. That doesn't mean I'm into open relationships. Rather, I excel at intimate relationships that offer safe and warm and loyal spaces within which to be real and honest.
I've dedicated the past 28 years of my life to raising children and tried to explore the world such as I could access it from within this primary dimension of caring for others. They're fledging now and I have more space for myself and others than I've had in decades (literally).
I could fill some of that space with another human who likes me for who I am and values what I bring.
I fall in love with men who make me laugh from surprise. Those are the best jokes after all.
I fall in love with men who hold some mystery for me; such mystery being individualistic and secure enough in itself to have a few rough edges while showing up loving and trustworthy in all the most important ways.
I fall in love with men who're cleverer than me.
Men who take full responsibility for their lives while pushing at the edges of what's considered safe treading.
The world and all that are in it are the most fascinating experience I could ever have dreamed, and I am very pleased to have this opportunity at a life well lived.
I think I've made a bloody good go of it thus far and I intend to go out with all my enthusiasm, even for the next day that might never come, intact.
